Jacy took this picture...she sure has a good eye for good shots!We also attended the Vietnam War Memorial on July 15th, that traveled to Bremerton. It was great. The kids weren't real interested at first, but we drug them along, and they seemed to become more interested as we walked along the wall. They would take there piece of paper and run their pencil over last names that were the same as some of their friends. Mind you, we don't know anyone who died in Vietnam, at least to my knowledge, they were just finding Johnsons, Bells...any name that was familiar! We were there right before their closing ceremonies, and Jacy wanted to stay really bad, so Gary stayed, and I took the other two girls home. They had a long day. Jacy seemed to really enjoy the ceremony, they had speakers, Navy Band, candles...etc. Abbey had just gotten home from 4 days at camp and we drug her to Narrows and this!! She did well, though she really just wanted to be home!
